Studio Valentine is thrilled to be partnering with SwitzerCultCreative to present ACCESS ART, an Artist-In-Residence project featuring mini events each month designed to bring people closer to the creative process.

Monthly Mini Events:

Engage with an Artist - SATURDAY, MAY 4th
The Colour of Your Letters - SAT, JUNE 8th
‘pen & p a i n t 2.5’ - SAT, JULY 6th
Armoury Design D + ‘p & p’ - AUGUST, Date TBD

About:

Elisa will be in house working on pieces at various times throughout the 2024 Spring/Summer seasons. The interactive events of the residency will be presented on the first Saturday of every month, beginning with Engage with an Artist on MAY 4th. Clientele and walk-in customers alike will be invited to engage with the artist as she works on a large-scale piece in the showroom window at SCC.

JUNE 8th, it’s all about mini commissioned pieces that begin with a letter of your choosing. The Colour of Your Letters incorporates a single letter from Elisa’s custom wood block alphabet series. Once chosen, she will invite clients to select 3 colours from her palette and will then proceed to press the letter into canvas creating a one of a kind commission.

JULY 6th will welcome the summer season with a mini workshop held at SCC. Only eight seats will be available on a first come first serve basis for ‘pen & p a i n t 2.5’. This is a condensed version of the ‘pen & p a i n t’ - a workshop investigating the cerebral word & the sensory image - where participants will spend a few hours exploring their untapped creativity through the application of writing & painting. All materials will be included.

The fourth and final event in AUGUST will coincide with the Armoury Design District’s summer celebration. Details and date TBD.
